Need more pampering!

Feel more lighter & refreshing after pampering myself at Kanebo, the Spring.

DSC05021

Under heavy work pressure since March & more responsibilities at work now. My mood swings & suffer from insomnia. I can’t sleep every night till wee hours of another day. I have to force myself to do revision for my coming exam in June. Though I sleep late every night, I still manage to wake up early, so you know, how the overall day goes.

Taking up yoga at Maha Yoga under instructor Valerie. At least, it helps me to de-stress a little. Wish to join 2 classes a week but as usual, I hardly have time to make it. Need to do lots of overtime is stress enough! Even need to work on SUNDAY as Chairman at draw results.

A great night with lots of catching up!

#3 Treat mum & the whole family at Soulis @ the park to celebrate Mother’s day. Everywhere is fully booked & was lucky to get a place for dinner that night!

Served with EVIAN drinking water which cost RM6.50 per small bottle. I thought how nice they served FREE at first before looking at the menu.

Happy Mother’s day, Mum. Love you.

#4 The Accountant Race 2010.

It’s like amazing race but this one is in Kuching!

A fun one with lots of driving & tasks. What I don’t like about the race is the Marshall is all too linear. Even the group been penalised with 30 minutes still can managed to get top winner. And those participants are like playing “cheat”.

DSC05796

Our group (my ex-colleagues from Adrian Yeo & Co.)  3 +1 agogo named by Ung Ho. A funny named though. And got voted as creative name. No, we didn’t win prize for it.

We managed to make it to top 10 of the 38 team participated that day.

Our 1st task: to separate green beans & barley been using chopsticks ONLY.

Checkpoint: A “kedai roti” signboard in green at busy weekends trading market.

Yup, our 1st guess is the Sunday market. Reaching the bakery shop (Mama’s bakery), Marshall passed us another task.

2nd task: To collect 10 name cards from the member of public.

We managed going to the shop nearby to get their name cards. Some old man was like “name card? don’t have oh” or even “har? you want it for what?”

Checkpoint 2: To the Equator. We ran all the way down the waterfront. And the equator is at Khatulistiwa cafe.

The 1st thing ran through my mind, that’s is an Equator? blur.

3rd task: Count the lamp post from the point to the lamp post tied with pink ribbon. Count the cats & draw the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN).

Gosh! Ran down the all the way still need to run back for counting.

Checkpoint 3: They showed a red bridge & crescent moon!

I’m familiar with the place. Our resouvier park!

4rd task: One person run around the lake. One person run up the hill & also around the lake. One person do 20 times push up & one person do 20 sits up.

My sits up is bad, my back arched.

Checkpoint 4: I can’t remember cleary what they wrote. But I remembered something like this one, “where two nations unites”

Our guess, friendship park.

5th task: read from long passage of 2 pages & choose the 3 answers for the question they asked.

Checkpoint: Shower + Car + Mango.

This one really took up lots of our time. At first we thought it’s at Four Points Sheraton that area. Because we think of shower. And there is lots of lorry behind the hotel. And a mango farm.

Too bad, we got it wrong. We even drove down to 7th Mile. Crazy!

But our last checkpoint is at the Orginal car wash. wtf.

Some pics taken.
